JBK pottery’s bread saver helps maintain desirable moisture levels in bread, buns, and baked goods to keep them soft and fresh longer. Made in America from a specially fired clay, it’s the perfect addition to baking supplies and so easy to use. Simply soak it in clean water for 15 minutes, pat it dry, then place it in an airtight container with the items to be kept soft. It also will soften and maintain moisture in brown sugar, granulated sugar, sugar in the raw, turbinado sugar, and sugar substitutes, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, and dried fruit or, use it dry without soaking to absorb moisture away from spices, salt, crackers, pretzels, chips, and other crispy foods to keep them crunchy longer.
